Birthday night out

Ashley planned an adult night out and it just happened to fall on my birthday. What a fun night! Trevor and Ashley coordinated a little cake surprise for dessert at the restaurant to celebrate Betsy, Tammy and my birthdays that all fall within 4 days of each other.  It was some long over due time with our friend without all the kiddos around.

Beautiful weekend in Nisswa

We spent the weekend in Nisswa and it was beautiful. While the big boys were golfing Grandma and I took the other three into town. Jameson and Olivia found the secret tunnel that goes under the highway. They thought they were pretty special walking through all on their own.

Banyan breaks ground!

Baynan broke ground today on their new building. The ceremony brought tears to my eyes as Joni spoke of efforts, commitment and time it took to raise the money, from the first donor (a Baynan family) to the last donor ( a large anonymous donor) this moment would not have been possible without everyone in between.

The evening was filled with fun, food, a blessing over the land and neighborhood, dancing and socializing. It was a beautiful day for a party!

Trouble

When the cat is away the mouse will play! I went into the kitchen to start some dinner and when I returned I found this little guy with his siblings bag of iced animal crackers and crumbs all over the floor. Yum!!  Know wonder he has such a big grin on his face!

At least he was willing to share some with mommy
