Winter Fun

With some of this COLD Minnesota weather we have had the Knight kids have tried to find ways to have fun indoors.

Jameson is getting so big and he is such a climber. He has been way more interested in climbing than walking.

 One morning we had all three kids on the couch with their little bowl of cereal and I think Jameson thought he was pretty cool sitting between his older siblings.

 Trevor and I joined the Williston Center for the winter months so the kids can swim at the splash pad and play in the Tree House. Jameson and Olivia are getting more and more comfortable in the water and Ben is a fish as always...

Back in Business

So I don't know what has been wrong with the blog website but I have not been able to load pictures for the last month but today we are back in business so here are some fun pictures from December.

Interviews

So my friend Shanon started doing this with her kids and I thought it was a great idea. So fun to see what they will say from year to year so here is my first interview with the kids. Questions were asked to each one individually so they could not hear the others responses.

     O: "Nobody" (typical)

    O: "3 babies"

    O: a blank stare was all I got from Olivia

    O: "I don't know"
    B: "work"

17. What is her favorite TV show?
   O: "watching Strawberry Shortcake with us"
   B: "Scandal"

18: What does mommy say a lot?
   O: "Have a time out!"
   B: " I love you and I want to eat your cheeks" (so true cause this kids has the softest cheeks ever)

19. What do you like best about Mommy?
   O: "giving hugs"
   B: "butterfly kisses"

Questions about Daddy

20. Where does your Daddy work?
   O: "Down here" (she points down the street)
   B: "St.Thomas"

21. What is his favorite TV show?
   O: "watching Strawberry Shortcake with us"
   B: "Castle"

22. What is his favorite sport?
   O: "making cookies"
   B: "Basketball"

23. What do you like best about Daddy?
   O: "Giving hugs"
   B: "That he hugs me"

The best part of this whole thing for me was watching their little minds think long and hard about the questions, then answer with such certainty. Hope you enjoyed and we will see what next year will bring!

Clean Teeth

Today was Olivia's first trip to the dentist. Ben went first to show her how it was done. When it was her turn she jumped right up in the chair and opened wide!

  She thought the light was a little bright so Stacy got her some Dora sunglasses and then it was back to cleaning. Dr.Wagnild counted 20 healthy teeth for Miss Olivia.

                                  

She is 3!

Last night we celebrated Olivia's 3rd Birthday with family and friends. The theme of the night was princesses. Olivia loves her princesses, especially Cinderella and Belle. Her requests for the night were noodles for dinner and a Cinderella cake.

And a princess she was crown and all!

And what is a birthday without some cake and ice cream.

After Church this morning Olivia put her crown back on and turned back into a princess!

Batman and his side kick Little Piggy

Our kids definitely had an opinion about what they wanted to be this year for Halloween. Ben was going to be Batman! Olivia kept telling everyone she was going to be a piggy. Well finding a pig costume was harder than I thought but the Internet did not let me down. Jameson was the only one not telling me what he wanted to be this year (although next year might be a different story).

 First stop of the night was to Aunt Kate's house. As always Kate had special treats for her little niece and nephews!

                                        
 Ben informed me a few weeks ago... "Mom I have LOTS of houses to go to this year" so lucky for Dad it was not too cold because these two would not let him skip a single house on the block.

 Olivia loved her piggy costume! When I asked to see her tail she would turn around and shake her little butt to make that tail wiggle.

 As always Jess and Al joined us for Halloween. Their little guy John was so happy and just watched the older kids in amazement. Jess and I decided next year we will let the Dads take all the kids out and we will stay home, drink wine and hand out candy.
