He is 1!

Where has the year gone?! I am always amazed at how much can change in a year. Looking back I wonder what our life was like without this little guy. Well, after a little delay due to the flu it is finally time to celebrate the youngest member of the Knight family!

Aunt Kate made his little smash cake, pretty impressive I thought.

This guys has completed our family and brought us so much joy. Although not a great sleeper, yet, he is so happy all day long. He loves to follow his siblings around and since he started walking last month it has become a little easier. He looks so much like his Big Brother Ben but has more of Jameson's sense of humor and loves to make people laugh. He spends his days with our nanny Kate, who I think he likes more than his mommy most days. He naps well, eats well and laughs lots.

It took him a little while to get going but then he dug in and enjoyed every bite.

His siblings loved celebrating with him. Pictures like this melt my heart!

Can't wait to see what the next year brings you buddy!

New adventure just around the corner

Kate sent me this picture in the middle of the day. Best Text Ever!

We went to visit our new puppy on Saturday. He is 3 weeks old and just starting to open his eyes, walk around and sit. The kids (well all but Jameson) loved all the puppies. Ben and Olivia had one puppy or another in their hands at all times.

Can't wait to bring you home little guy!

Fun in the Snow!

It was a beautiful sunny day and we couldn't resist some time outside. We went on a nature walk looking for sticks and grass for our garden in the snow. Harrison too loved the snow.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We spent Christmas Eve in Fairmont this year. The kiddos love staying at Great Grandpa and Grandma's Eisenmenger

 We spent Christmas Day with the Knights and by the end of the day we had one tired little boy!

 The kids each got Kindles for Christmas and Santa brought all the accessories. Ben was so excited I think he almost cried when he opened it. They were enjoying a little screen time on a Saturday morning.

 The day after Christmas was also exciting as the newest member of the Knight family was born! Zeek Knight was born in Kenyon MN on 12/26. He was the only white male in the litter. All the other pups were chocolate so it was meant to be:)

 We hosted New Year's Eve with friends this year. The kids spent most of the night out on the rink and they had a blast. Olivia and Jameson continue to improve on their skates every day. Grandpi brought over new trainers for the rink and the kids were just cruising around!

Trevor used plastic to line the rink this year, filled it up like a pool and waited for it to freeze. We finally got some colder weather and the kids are making good use of the rink.

This little guy is growing up fast. Where does the time go? He is a little mini Ben and I have to write on any pictures I print to tell them apart

Toys for Tots

We continued the traditions again this year of for going the gift exchange with the Murray family and did a little Toys for Tots instead. The kids all had fun picking out their toys. We managed to keep track of all 7 of them in Target which is no small task.

 We dropped the toys off with the Marines and took a few minutes to snap a couple pictures. After the drop off we headed back to our place so the kids could have some hot chocolate and play while the adults enjoyed some adult beverages and had some time to catch up.
