Christmas for the Knights was a little different this year. Jameson came down with a fever the Sunday before Christmas and by Monday he was diagnosed with Influenza A. By Sunday night Ben had the puking flu and was sleeping on our bathroom floor. I followed the boys and was home from work on Tuesday. Needless to say we were not going to the Knights for Christmas Eve and we were not going to Fairmont for Christmas day. The kids did great even though all the Christmas celebrations kept getting postponed.
Lucky for the kids the Flu does not affect Santa. They still had gifts from Santa on Christmas morning. Ben got a new bike which he loves because it looks kind of like a dirt bike.
Olivia got her rainbow scarf that she asked for and 2 horses for her American girl doll
Jameson got a puzzle just like he asked for from Santa.
Emily also dropped off gifts from the Welsh Family. Olivia got an outfit for her doll. Jameson got a Nurf gun which all three kids love.
Ben got the game Twister which was perfect for a Christmas stuck at home.
By Friday everyone was over the worst of it and we had one more day to hang out with Erin, Brian and Alli before they flew back to California.
The next Christmas celebration was with the Alm Family. Again the celebration was on again off again because Emily was not feeling great but we managed to pull it off at the last minute when she was feeling better.
Jameson got a hard hat with a flash light attached. He was all smiles.
Then on Sunday it was off to the Knight's to celebrate.
Leslie was home for a little over a week. It was great to have her home for the holidays. She is not around pregnant women very often and she could not get over my belly. She needed a picture to take back and show all her friends in Spain. I don't take a lot of pregnant pictures but here it is. 37 weeks with Baby Knight #4.
Jameson got lots of sporting gear so he does not have to use Ben's all the time.
Daddy was super excited about his new sweatshirt from Cory with a built in bottle cooler
Even though Christmas break was a little different this year the kids still had time to play outside in the snow.
Merry Christmas to all!
