Clean Teeth

Today was Olivia's first trip to the dentist. Ben went first to show her how it was done. When it was her turn she jumped right up in the chair and opened wide!

She thought the light was a little bright so Stacy got her some Dora sunglasses and then it was back to cleaning. Dr.Wagnild counted 20 healthy teeth for Miss Olivia.

She is 3!

Last night we celebrated Olivia's 3rd Birthday with family and friends. The theme of the night was princesses. Olivia loves her princesses, especially Cinderella and Belle. Her requests for the night were noodles for dinner and a Cinderella cake.
And a princess she was crown and all!
Jameson had fun playing with his little princess, Emma.

Ben,Cullen, Kinsley and Olivia all sitting down for dinner.
Olivia was spoiled as always with lots of generous gifts
And what is a birthday without some cake and ice cream.
After Church this morning Olivia put her crown back on and turned back into a princess!

Batman and his side kick Little Piggy

Our kids definitely had an opinion about what they wanted to be this year for Halloween. Ben was going to be Batman! Olivia kept telling everyone she was going to be a piggy. Well finding a pig costume was harder than I thought but the Internet did not let me down. Jameson was the only one not telling me what he wanted to be this year (although next year might be a different story).
First stop of the night was to Aunt Kate's house. As always Kate had special treats for her little niece and nephews!

Ben informed me a few weeks ago... "Mom I have LOTS of houses to go to this year" so lucky for Dad it was not too cold because these two would not let him skip a single house on the block.
Olivia loved her piggy costume! When I asked to see her tail she would turn around and shake her little butt to make that tail wiggle.
As always Jess and Al joined us for Halloween. Their little guy John was so happy and just watched the older kids in amazement. Jess and I decided next year we will let the Dads take all the kids out and we will stay home, drink wine and hand out candy.

Happy Birthday Buddy!

Last weekend Ben had his first Birthday Party with a large group of friends. He was so excited he could hardly contain himself. One of Ben's favorite things to do at school is splatter paint. So brave or crazy, I am not sure which, we decided to splatter paint pumpkins. Lucky for us it was a success!
We also had some fall crafts for the kids while they waited to splatter.
And boys will be boys, just look at them!

This is the after math from splatter painting in the Knight garage. Trevor did a great job and the mess stayed pretty well contained. All in all the party was a success and Ben is already planning his party for next year.

Look out Neighbors I am on Wheels!

Ben got Rollerblades and all the safety gear needed from the Drekes for his Birthday. He has been practicing the last few days on the carpet and today we headed outside. He did great! Even when he fell or was losing his balance he did not freak out, he just kept on smiling.

Great Wedding Fun!

On Saturday we drove to Des Moines for Trevor's cousin Chet's wedding. After the long 4 hour drive with the kids we got to the hotel and let them burn off some energy in the pool before getting ready for the wedding.

The wedding was outside at the Blank Park Zoo. The rain held off for most of the wedding.

Ben was so excited to see his "cousin" Mac. Mac is the son of Trevor's other cousin Chelsea so I guess that actually makes these boys 2nd cousins. They had a great time running around the zoo before the ceremony and hanging out at the reception. We wish they did not live in Wyoming.
                                                                 Silly Faces!
Jameson was passed from one family to the next. He found a good place to sleep on Shannon's shoulder (Trevor's cousin from Pennsylvania).
As the night went on it was time to get the PJ's on and just like that the kids were asleep!

It was a quick trip but well worth the drive. We had a great time visiting all the Family that we don't see enough.
