Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We spent Christmas Eve in Fairmont this year. The kiddos love staying at Great Grandpa and Grandma's Eisenmenger
We spent Christmas Day with the Knights and by the end of the day we had one tired little boy!
The kids each got Kindles for Christmas and Santa brought all the accessories. Ben was so excited I think he almost cried when he opened it. They were enjoying a little screen time on a Saturday morning.
The day after Christmas was also exciting as the newest member of the Knight family was born! Zeek Knight was born in Kenyon MN on 12/26. He was the only white male in the litter. All the other pups were chocolate so it was meant to be:)
We hosted New Year's Eve with friends this year. The kids spent most of the night out on the rink and they had a blast. Olivia and Jameson continue to improve on their skates every day. Grandpi brought over new trainers for the rink and the kids were just cruising around!

Trevor used plastic to line the rink this year, filled it up like a pool and waited for it to freeze. We finally got some colder weather and the kids are making good use of the rink.

This little guy is growing up fast. Where does the time go? He is a little mini Ben and I have to write on any pictures I print to tell them apart

Toys for Tots

We continued the traditions again this year of for going the gift exchange with the Murray family and did a little Toys for Tots instead. The kids all had fun picking out their toys. We managed to keep track of all 7 of them in Target which is no small task.
We dropped the toys off with the Marines and took a few minutes to snap a couple pictures. After the drop off we headed back to our place so the kids could have some hot chocolate and play while the adults enjoyed some adult beverages and had some time to catch up.

4 and Fabulous!

4 and Fabulous about sums up this little man. Jameson continues to be just a sweet and caring little boy. He is FUNNY and loves to make people laugh. He has a stubborn streak a mile long and really test our patience some mornings. He still loves to snuggle with mom and dad. He is quickly learning to defend himself against his brother and sister and is learning himself to be a wonderful big brother to Harrison.
Happy Birthday Buddy! We Love You!!

North Pole here we come...

Julie and Jeff bought tickets for all of us to take a ride on the Steam Engine Train in St.Paul to the "North Pole" We got on the train and took the 1 mile ride to the North Pole where we found Santa's sleigh had broken down and was being fixed so Santa joined our train and hitches a ride with us!
Best Big Brother ever! (most of the time;))
Thanks Julie and Jeff for a GREAT trip to the North Pole!

Girls night out

Went had dinner at Spasso with Shanon and Kinsley to celebrate the girls' birthdays. It is so fun to see these two together. Even when has been a while since the last get together they just pick right up where they left off, giggles and all.
Look how things have changed!
Olivia on the left and Kinsley on the right. Olivia was about 1-2 weeks only and Kinsley just three weeks older.

Beautiful day at the MN Zoo

Trevor had some PTO to use so we decided to leave Harrison home with Kate and take the older 3 to the MN Zoo! It was a beautiful day to be at the zoo and there were hardly any people there! When we walked around outside we darn near had the place to ourselves. Thank you Great Grandpa and Grandma Eisenmenger for our day at the zoo!

She is 6 already!

How did my little girl get so old? She has really blossomed in the last year. At this time last year she would not share during circle time at school, she was shy and reserved. At fall conferences this year her teacher told us that she started the year off quiet but now stands up, uses the microphone and shares her thoughts and ideas during circle time. She really seems to enjoy school, she is learning to read and learning the importance of trying even when you don't get something right the first time. She is a bit of a perfectionist which drives her parents nuts! She is sweet, snugly and sassy all wrapped up in one. She has got some attitude and is more of a leader than I ever thought she would be. This past year has been so fun to watch her grow and mature little by little.
Olivia had a small friend party this year. Our Nanny Kate and her friend did nails for the girls and they made necklaces and bracelets.

Even Ben and Jameson wanted in on the party!
Can't wait to see what the next year brings for our little girl!
