The summers go by so fast and it is that time of year again when I send the kids off to school. This year we had another one join Tanglen Elementary. Olivia has grown up so fast and is totally ready for this new adventure. Jameson is ready to move up to the big Preschool room and Orchard Park. Now he gets to be the big man on campus. He no longer will walk in the shadow of the older two Knight Kids.

This year's day at the MN State Fair was a little bitter sweet. This was the first year in many, as long as I can remember that we did not go with mom and dad. With Great Grandpa's Eisenmenger having surgery Grandpa and Grandma across the street were still in Rochester. On the plus side, Emily and Thomas decided to join us this year. It has been a few years since they have come with us and it was great to have them along for the day.
Slushies for all!
The older two tried a few rides this year.
This was the first time we checked out the little farm. The kids loved riding the tracker, planting the food, picking the food and following along all the way to the free treat at the end!
The little boys also had their fair share of fun. It is a blast watching them together. They are actually starting to interact with one another.
We missed Grandpa and Grandma but all in all it was a great day filled with lots of food, fun and family!

With Grandpa and Grandma home for the weekend it left the cabin open to have some friends up to the lake. The weekend weather was not great but we had a great time anyways. Saturday after the Lovas family arrived we went to Grandview to swim and burn off some energy.
Harrison and Luke loved the warm pool!
The rest of the crew loved the water slide
Looks like Grandpa and Grandma need a bigger couch
Ben had some good snuggle time with Luke.
Addie read a story to Eddie and Olivia
Olivia had some quality time with Eric. She is always all smiles when she is holding a baby
After the rain stopped on Sunday the kids were able to get out for a little scavenger hunt and bonfire. There might have even been some marshmallows involved:)
It was a great weekend with some long overdue quality time with some wonderful friends!

It was anther great weekend on Middle Cullen. The sun was shining and it was HOT!
We spent all day Saturday down at the beach trying to stay cool.
Grandma and Grandpa were even down by the water for most of the afternoon
Summer is coming to an end and we don't know how many more nice weekends we will have like this one!

Another great night with the cousins! This time we had dinner at the Olingers since we had yet to see their house. Jessie made a fabulous taco dinner (even if Jamie had to the grill the chicken for her;)). Always so much fun to hang out with these great ladies. Until next time!

It was time for another great week at middle Cullen. We look forward to our vacation week each year as we get to spend the week with the kids without the everyday stresses of home and work.
Jameson loves his little brother.
Harrison is getting more mobile every day. While I was doing dishes I had a little helper that figured out he could open the drawer and that there were "goodies" inside.
And he was so proud of himself
We had beautiful weather for most of the week. We lived on the porch and down on the beach. We ate every single meal outside.
I can't believe I got all four of these kiddos looking and smiling at the camera. This might be a FIRST!!
Our mornings were lazy and wonderful. We spent extra time in our PJ's enjoying our coffee and our books on the porch.
And for lunch.... Loaded Bloody Marys
I realized when we got back that I didn't take as many pictures as I usually do. Oh well, it must mean I was just busy having fun!
