Sea Life at the MOA

Last week Trevor had Monday off so we got tickets to Sea Life and off to the MOA we went. We wanted to get there first things so we left early, parked on the opposite side of the mall and let the kids just walk/run around the mall. They loved looking at all the people and stores. Ben ran into at least 2 walls he was so distracted!
The kids just soaked it all in and enjoyed all the fish and colors that Sea Life had to offer.
Olivia's favorite part was definitely the turtles both big and small.
Overall the morning was a success completed with cinnamon twist stick from Annie's Pretzels. Both kids were asleep before we could get home.

Child of God

Jameson Robert Baptized in Christ

February 19,2012

God Parents are Aunt Kate and Aunt Leslie (Since Leslie is in Spain we asked Great Grandma Ester to stand in for Leslie)
He was crying until we put him in the water. It was warm like his bathtub and he stopped crying instantly and just looked at Deacon Rick.

The people were praying over the mommies (Olivia did not miss a beat)

So every week when we get communion Ben loves to give Deacon Rick a big hug. During the Baptism service Deacon Rick told everyone that Ben's hugs help get him through the week. He is Ben's buddy!

tumble, tumble, roll...

Ben just finished his first experience with gymnastics at Mini-Hops. He loved every bar, mat, tumble, jump and roll over the last 6 weeks. It was a great way to burn off some energy on a Monday morning and put those big muscle of his to good use. After class today his coach asked if we would be interested in putting Ben in the Pre-Team class? He saw Ben do a cartwheel and said he has 7-8 year old kids that can't do them like that. Ummm, as impressed as I was with Ben's self taught cartwheels I think we will stick to one activity a season for now. Next up: SWIMMING...
